In 2022, I spent a few days at Prairieside Cottage + Outpost to do a hard reset on my art practice. While I worked with various media, naturally, I fell back on my love for the lens and used that to take in the beauty of the space around me. While those photos can stand independently, I layered the images like double exposures. The resulting works explore the nuance of observation and the meditation of time alone in the prairie.
